How to report a Site that should not be on oi, and what happens after you do.

What to report
Anything on a {slug}.oi.mrdk.io URL, or on a custom domain served by oi, that breaks the acceptable use rules: phishing and fake sign-in pages, malware, content that sexually exploits or endangers children, harassment of an individual, exposure of someone's private information, spam networks, or content that is otherwise illegal.
Copyright and trademark complaints go to the same address. Include the work concerned, the URL that reproduces it, and a statement that you hold the right or act for whoever does.
How to report
Email hi@oi.mrdk.io with "abuse" in the subject line and include:
- the full URL, including the subdomain — a report without a URL cannot be acted on;
- what is wrong with it, in a sentence or two;
- when you saw it, and a screenshot if the page changes on reload;
- how to contact you, if you would like an outcome.
Reports about child sexual abuse material are escalated immediately and reported to the relevant authorities; you do not need to include evidence beyond the URL.
What happens next
Reports are read in the order they arrive, with anything alleging active harm — phishing, malware, exploitation of a minor — pulled to the front and usually actioned the same day. Everything else is acknowledged within three working days.
The usual outcome is that the Site is taken down. Where the account behind it looks compromised rather than malicious we contact the owner first. Repeated violations end the account.
A note on anonymous Sites
Most oi Sites are anonymous and delete themselves after 24 hours. If you are reporting one, it may well be gone before anyone reads the mail — report it anyway. The pattern behind it, not the single URL, is what gets blocked.
